11.5.07 - OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla- The Mid-America Christian University Lady Evangels will go into the NCCAA Division I Central Region Tournament as the #4 seed. The Regional Tournament will begin Friday, Nov 9, on the campus of Mid-America Nazarene University in Olathe, Kan.

"We received a disappointing seed," Head Coach Zach Bice said. "I thought we might be rated a little higher, but we have to play it out on the field. I am confident that the girls will respond and we will make a run in Kansas."

MACU is 12-5 on the season, and lost their only Regional game to Central Christian College 1-0 on the road.

The Lady Evangels will play the top seed, Mid-America Nazarene University Friday, Nov 9 at 2:30 p.m. in the first round. The winner will receive a birth in the Championship Game Saturday, Nov 10.
