5.27.09 - Moore, Okla.- With her family and friends looking on, Moore High School senior, Sarah Dougherty signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Mid-America Christian University for the 2009-2010 season.

Dougherty, 18, is the daughter of Ron and Suzanne Dougherty. She is a native of Moore, Oklahoma. Dougherty was a two-year varsity letterman for the Moore High School Lady Lions, playing goalkeeper.

"Sarah will be a great addition to our team," head women's soccer coach Zach Bice said. "She was a good high school soccer player and we hope to see her carry that over to the collegiate level."

MACU is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Sooner Athletic Conference.
