Jamie Thatcher signing a letter of intent to play soccer at MACU

5.27.09 - Noble, Okla.- Noble High School senior, Jamie Thatcher signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Mid-America Christian University during the 2009-2010 season.

Thatcher, 17, is the daughter of Shane and Terrie Thatcher. She is a native of Noble, Oklahoma. Thatcher, a graduating senior, played goalkeeper and center midfield for the Noble High School Lady Bears. She also played soccer competitively for Moore Eclipse, the Southlakes Cosmos and the Norman Fury. Thatcher was awarded the Noble Alumni Scholarship and the Noble Athletic Scholarship.

"We are excited to add Jamie to the team," head women's soccer coach Zach Bice said. "She is a hard worker and we are looking forward to watching her develop as a college soccer player over the next few years."

MACU is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Sooner Athletic Conference.
