11.10.07 - OLATHE, Kan.- The Mid-America Christian University Lady Evangels ended their season with a loss Saturday, Nov. 10. The Central Christian College Lady Tigers defeated the Lady Evangels 3-1. "It is very disappointing to end the season with a loss," Head Coach Zach Bice said. "We had a good season but it would have been nice to end the season with a win." The MACU defense gave up two goals in the first half, which proved to be enough for the Lady Tigers. "Our defense broke down a couple of times in the first half and it cost us," Coach Bice said. Freshman Lindsey McKinney scored a goal in the first half off of a Bailey Williams assist, but that was the only goal for the Lady Evangels. Central Christian managed an insurance goal in the second half to put away the game. MACU outshot the Lady Tigers 10-5. Junior Emily Lyon picked up two saves in the loss. The Lady Evangels finished the season 12-7, which is a school record for most wins in a season.
