10/23/07 - OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The Mid-America Christian University Lady Evangels lost to Rogers State University Monday, Oct. 22. Rogers State defeated MACU 2-5.

The Lady Evangels defense struggled in the first half, giving up four first half goals.

"Our defense definitely struggled in the first half," Coach Bice said. "They found the holes in our defense and took advantage of the opportunities."

In the second half, MACU played much better defense, letting up just one goal. The offense began to come alive as well and scored two goals, but they could not recover from the first half.

Lauren Patrick and Lindsey McKinney scored a goal a piece for the Lady Evangels. MACU finished the regular season at 12-5 and will look to make some noise in the NCCAA Division I Central Region Tournament.

The Regional Tournament is November 2-3, the location of the tournament is still uncertain.
