10/2/07 - DALLAS, Texas - The Lady Evangels won their third straight game Tuesday, Oct. 2. MACU defeated Dallas Christian College 9-0.

MACU has won nine out of their last ten games.

The Lady Evangels recorded their second straight shut-out and their seventh shut-out of the season.

MACU has given up just seventeen goals this year, which is sixth among NCCAA Division I schools.

"Our defense continues to get the job done every game," Coach Bice said.

The offense leads the nation in scoring with 4.86 goals per game.

MACU scored all of their goals in the first half and cruised to the victory. MACU had a balanced scoring attack with eight Lady Evangels scoring goals.

Christina Black led the Lady Evangels with two goals. Emily Lyon, Azia Maxwell, Lindsey McKinney, Kelsey Morris, Laci Ruppel, Bailey Williams, and Jena Vega rounded out the Lady Evangel scoring.

Sara Murphy, Kaylynn Pursley, Rachel Scott, Maxwell, McKinney, Williams, and Vega contributed assists.

MACU improved to 11-4.

The Lady Evangels will host Wayland Baptist University Saturday, Oct. 6 at 1:00.
