9/11/07 - OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The Lady Evangels played Dallas Christian College Tuesday, September 11. MACU scored a team record 18 goals and dominated Dallas Christian 18-0. "We played a good game," Coach Bice said. "We need to get ready for Southwestern College now." The Lady Evangels controlled the ball throughout the entire game. Dallas Christian had two shots on goal compared to MACU's forty shots on goal. "We controlled the ball and that was important," Coach Bice said. Tiffany Ramirez, Laci Ruppel, Lindsey McKinney, and Bailey Williams contributed two goals apiece. Julie Ward, Jena Vega, Melanie Singleton, Kelsey Morris, Sara Murphy, Lori Bice, Azia Maxwell, Kaylynn Pursley, Rachel Scott, and Emily Lyon score a goal each to complete the Lady Evangels scoring. Lauren Patrick, Tara Taylor, Lyon, McKinney, Morris, and Pursley all had one assist, while Williams contributed three assists. "The scoring was balanced and that is good no matter how big the win," Coach Bice said. The Lady Evangels improved to 5-3. MACU will travel to Southwestern College in Winfield, KS Thursday, September 13. Game time is 5:00.
