8.4.09 - Oklahoma City, Okla.- The Mid-America Christian University women's basketball program added Evan Lee to their roster for the 2009-2010 season.

"Evan is a very intelligent basketball player," head women's basketball coach Markus Crandall said. "She is a great hustler on the court and a very deadly shooter, having made seven three pointers in a game this summer. I believe she possesses the work ethic, discipline and desire to make a tremendous impact to the program."

Lee is a 2009 graduate of Lakewood Christian School in McAlester, Oklahoma. During her senior season she was named to the All-Conference Team and to the Canadian All-Tournament Team. She was also named the Lady Lions offensive player of the year. The 5'6 point guard averaged 12 points, two rebounds, four assists and three steals per game for LCS as a senior. Lee was an Oklahoma Christian Schools Athletic Association All-State basketball player in 2008 and 2009.

Off the court, Lee was a principals honor roll recipient in 2009. She plans on majoring in Business Administration at MACU.
