Tiffany Eaves signs a letter of intent to play basketball at Mid-America Christian University.

Aug. 1, 2008

8.1.08 - OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Mid-America Christian University Head Women's Basketball Coach, Markus Crandall, has announced the signing of Tuttle native Tiphani Eaves. Eaves, a shooting guard, will join the MACU women's basketball program in the fall of 2008.

Eaves, 19, is the daughter of Meschelle Eaves. While playing for the Tuttle Lady Tigers, Eves was an Oklahoma Basketball Coaches Association All-State selection and voted to the All-Conference team. She was also chosen for the Daily Oklahoman Little All-City Team. Eaves also played basketball in the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) for the Air Oklahoma Stars. She transfers to MACU from the University of Central Oklahoma, where she spent her freshman season.

"Tiphani is a superb shooter with tremendous basketball abilities," Crandall said. "She had an outstanding AAU and high school basketball career at Tuttle. Her work ethic and ability to make other players around her better makes her a great addition to the Lady Evangel basketball program. She has a true love and passion for the game of basketball. She has spent six weeks of her summer coaching, teaching and refereeing at a youth basketball camp. We are thrilled to have Tiphani joining us."

MACU is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Sooner Athletic Conference.
