3.13.09 - WINONA LAKE, Ind.- After upsetting No. 3 Nyack (N.Y.) College 71-55 in first round action, the Mid-America Christian University women's basketball team is set to take on No. 2 Mt. Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) in the semifinal game on March 13th at 5 p.m.

The No. 2 seeded Lady Cougars downed the No. 7 seed Oakland City (Ind.) University 81-70 in the first round at the eight-team event hosted by Grace College.

Mt. Vernon Nazarene is a member of the NCCAA and the NAIA. They have an overall record of 25-9 and a 6-9 record in the American Mideast Conference.
