2.8.10 - Oklahoma City, Okla.- The Mid-America Christian University women's basketball team will open NCCAA Central Region Tournament play on Tuesday, February 9th, hosting Central Christian College at 6 p.m.

The Lady Evangels are ranked second in the Central Region with a 12-12 overall record. CCC takes the lowest seed (7th) with a 9-14 overall record. Top ranked Southwestern Assemblies of God University received an opening round bye.

The winning team will advance to the semi-finals, taking on either No. 6 Oklahoma Wesleyan University or No. 3 Central Baptist College.
