Josh Lind is entering his second season as head coach at Mid-America Christian University as the Lady Evangels enter their inaugural season as members of the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC). Lind reached the NCCAA National Tournament in his first year of coaching and finished fifth, while winning the Interstate Collegiate Conference and the Southwest Region. Lind is a former player and assistant for Hall of Fame Coach Willie Holley. Lind comes from Buhler, Kan., where he was All-County, All- Conference, All-Region, and Honorable mention All-State. After high school, Lind came to Mid-America Christian University to play basketball. As a player, Lind won back-to-back national championships in 2003 and 2004. Lind holds the career record for charges taken with 65. Lind is a member of the 1000 point club and finished his career with 1015 points. Upon graduation, Lind was the assistant coach for Holley and helped recruit the majority of the players that won the 2007 National Championship. In 2005, Lind was named head women's basketball coach. Since that time, Lind has won the ICC Championship, Southwest Region Championship and placed fifth in the National Christian College Athletic Association Division II National Tournament. Lind has a career record of 22-11. Lind earned his bachelor's degree in behavioral science from Mid-America Christian University in 2005. He and his wife, Ashley, reside in Blanchard. |
