12.4.08 - Kissimmee, Fla.- In a consolation game at the NCCAA National Tournament the Mid-America Christian University (MACU) men's soccer team fell to number four seed Palm Beach Atlantic (PBA) 2-0 at Austin-Tindall Park.

The loss drops the Evangels to 7-13-1 on the season and the win moves Palm Beach Atlantic to 12-7-1 overall.

The Sailfish scored both of their goals in the fist half of play. PBA senior Chance Sumner crossed a corner kick into the box and Caleb Roberts put it in the back of the net in the 33rd minute of play. Just ten minutes later the Sailfish put away a second goal making the score 2-0.

The Sailfish held the Evangels to only two shots on goal. Goalkeeper Austin Custar had three saves, playing all 90 minutes.

The Evangels will play in the seventh place match on Saturday, December 6, at 11 a.m. against Hope International.
