5.15.09 - Oklahoma City, Okla.- The Mid-America Christian University men's soccer team added Southmoore High School defender Micah Loafman to their 2009-2010 roster.

Loafman, 18, is the son of Doug and Lucinda Loafman. He is a native of Moore, Oklahoma and will be part of the first graduating class a Southmoore High School in May. Loafman plays defender for the SHS Sabercats and competitively for Southlakes Cosmos '91. He was the defensive player of the year at SHS. Loafman also excels in the classroom finishing his high school career in the top ten percent of his class academically.

"We are looking forward to having Micah join our team," head soccer coach Zach Bice said. "He is a hard worker and will be a great addition to our program."

MACU is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Sooner Athletic Conference.
