9/20/07 - OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Mid-America Christian University fell to St. Gregory's University 0-3 Thursday, Sept. 20. The loss ends MACU's three game winning streak.

"We played well," Coach Bice said. "We just could not capitalize on some of our opportunities."

The first half was a defensive battle, with both teams held scoreless. The second half was much like the first half with both goalies making tremendous saves.

The game remained scoreless with less than fifteen minutes remaining. MACU missed a golden opportunity when Felix Banjo missed a wide open goal with ten minutes left in the game.

St. Gregory's scored three goals in a five minute stretch to beat the Evangels 0-3. Austin Custar had a tremendous game with 11 saves.

MACU had just five shots, while St. Gregory's had twelve shots.

The Evangels are 5-3-1.

MACU will host Bacone College Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 5:00.
