Zach Bice enters his fourth year as the Evangels' head coach. Over the last three years, under Coach Bice, the men's team has made a great deal of progress. In his first season in 2006 the men went 7-16 and in 2007 they improved to 10-6-2. 2007 marked the Evangels inaugural season in the NAIA.

In their first season in the NAIA and the second season as a program the women's team improved their record from the previous year by 12 wins with a 12-7 record. In 2008 the men's soccer team won the NCCAA Division I Central Region Championship, the first for the Evangels Athletic program since moving to division I in 2007.

A native of Moore, Oklahoma, Bice played for Norman Celtic and Moore High School. He was an All-State selection his senior year. In 2003, Bice earned his bachelor's degree in English from the University of Central Oklahoma.

He is currently working on his Master in Leadership Administration at MACU. Prior to coaching the Evangels, Bice coached competitive teams at Southlakes Soccer Club and he was the Assistant Coach at Westmoore High School.

Coach Bice came to MACU because he loves the game and wants to impact athletes for Christ. He and his wife, Lori, have served at First Baptist Church, Moore in the Student Ministry for 11 year. They have two children, Kenzi, 14, and Brantley, 11.
