9/24/07 - OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The MACU golf team recently qualified for the NCCAA National Championship Golf Tournament to be held in Panama City, Florida to be held on October 8 and 9, 2007.

Qualification for the tournament is based on performance in fall tournaments. The NCCAA National Championship Golf Tournament is reserved for the top 18 teams in the nation.

"I was extremely excited to learn that we had qualified for the national tournament," Coach Josh Lind said. "It's an honor for the guys to be one of the best 18 teams in the nation in the NCCAA and to be able to compete for a national championship."
