5.19.09 - Oklahoma City, Okla.- The Mid-America Christian University men's golf team added Noble High School senior Jacob McElhany to their 2009-2010 roster.

McElhany, 18, is the son of James McElhany and Pam Deaton. He is a native of Noble, Oklahoma. While playing golf for the Noble Bears, McElhany was named to the All-Conference team in 2007, 2008 and 2009. He also excels off the golf course, being chosen to participate in Boys State and he is a member of the National Honor Society.

"We are looking forward to having Jacob join our team," head golf coach Markus Crandall said. "I hope his commitment to excellence will propel him to a successful golf career at MACU."

MACU is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Sooner Athletic Conference.
