9.22.09 - Searcy, Ark.- The Mid-America Christian University golf team wrapped up play at the Bison Fall Classic, hosted by Harding University, in 11th place. The Evangels carded a team score of 309 to finish with a 622 two-day total.

Tournament host, Harding University took home the title with a two-day team total of 569 at the Stonelink Golf Club.

Senior Andrew Shepard led the Evangels, carding a final-round 74. Sophomores Karl Griffith and Cody Mosley both fired a 78 in the last day of competition. Senior Matt Howard posted a 79. Matt Costilow rounded out the team of five with an 84.

James Wiginton led the medalist with a 71, good for one under par. He is the first Evangel to finish under par this fall.

Weston Wright added a 79 and Jacob McElhany shot an 82.
