9.21.09 - Searcy, Ark.- The Mid-America Christian University golf squad stands in a tie for seventh place with Lyon College after one round at the Bison Fall Golf Classic, hosted by Harding University at the Stonelink Golf Club.

The MACU golf team posted a team score of 313. The University of Arkansas- Fort Smith took the top spot with a team score of 280.

Matt Costilow led the way for the Evangels posting a 76 followed by Karl Griffith who carded a 77.

Cody Mosley finished day one with a 79 and Andrew Shepard fired an 81. Matt Howard rounded out the team of five with an 84.

James Wiginton and Jacob McElhany both finished with a 79 and Weston Wright concluded day one with an 81.

The Evangels will wrap of the tournament tomorrow, September 22nd.
