4.27.09 - Shawnee, Okla- The Mid-America Christian University golf team posted a 668 on day one, sitting in seventh place going into the final day of competition at the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament hosted by Oklahoma Baptist University at the Shawnee Country Club.

Freshman Karl Griffith leads the Evangels, tied for 32 place. He carded an 84 and a 79 to finish with a 163 on the day.

Matt Costilow finished right behind Griffith with an 83 and an 81 giving him a 164 on day one.

Cody Mosley finished the day with an 83 and an 81 tying for 38th place at 167.

Junior Andrew Shepard is tied for 43rd place with an 81 and 93 on the day.

James Wiginton rounds out the five tied for 47th place with an 86 and 94 on day one.

The Evangels will conclude play on Tuesday, April 28th at Shawnee Country Club.
