3.7.08 - Oklahoma City, Okla.- The Mid-America Christian University golf team opened their season at the Gaillardia Intercollegiate Tournament hosted by Oklahoma Christian University and Oklahoma City University.

The Evangels finished in 11th place led by freshman Karl Griffith tuning in a 90 and a 79 (169) good for 47th place.

Griffith was followed by Matt Costilow and Cody Mosley tied for 58th overall. Making his first start with the team, Costilow shot and 89 and a 87 (176) and Mosley turned in a 95 and 81 (176).

James Wiginton posted a 96 and 83 (179), finishing in 60th place.

Weston Wright rounded out the starting five with scores of 89 and 94, giving him 61st place at 183.
