11.8.07 - 11/8/07 OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla- The Mid-America Christian University JV Evangels lost big to the Redland Community College Cougars Thursday, Nov 8. Redlands defeated MACU 91-51.

The Cougars dominated the JV Evangels from the beginning, and kept MACU out of their offense with its defensive pressure. Redlands defense led them to a 47-21 halftime lead.

The Cougars used the same pressure defense in the second half and the JV Evangels struggled to get in the offensive groove.

Jonathan Peaslee had a good game with 15 points and six rebounds. Landrell Williams contributed 12 points, while Brandon Moore had 10 points. Jay Weast dished out seven assists in the loss.

The JV Evangels dropped to 1-8 on the season.

MACU will host Western Oklahoma State College Monday, Nov 12 at 7:30 p.m.
