At MACU Tyron Goldsmith finished the 07-08 season ranking in the top five on the team in points per game, rebounds, and blocked shots. He played in 34 games averaging 6.8 points per game while shooting 44.4 percent from the field. Before MACU Before coming to MACU, Goldsmith spent two seasons playing for Seminole State College. Goldsmith help guide Seminole State to the playoffs both seasons, and his squad finished fifth in the nation his sophomore year. High School Goldsmith is a graduate of Northeast Academy in Oklahoma City. He was a three-year letterman and was a member of the Class 4A State Championship team his junior season. Goldsmith off the Court Following practice, Goldsmith spends his free time relaxing and enjoying gospel music. He has a passion for music and plays several instruments for personal satisfaction and at his church, Emmanuel Tabernacle. When asked how he would describe MACU, Goldsmith stated, "If I had an ideal place, MACU is it. I really feel at home, and I enjoy the Christian atmosphere." |
