5.12.09 - Oklahoma City, Okla.- The Mid-America Christian University baseball team ended their season with a win over Crowley Ridge College on Tuesday morning at Putnam City High School Baseball Complex.

Due to inclement weather the Central Regional was made single elimination, knocking the Evangels out due to their loss to Colorado Christian University on Monday evening.

MACU and Crowley Ridge played the consolation game where the Evangels prevailed 10-0 over the Pioneers.

MACU jumped out to a 8-0 lead in the bottom of the first and cruised through the remainder of the game after adding their final two runs in the second.

Senior Cody Wise gets the win for the Evangels in his last start with MACU. He only allowed one hit which came in the top of the fifth. He was also 2-for-2 at the plate and reached on a walk twice.

Senior Kieran Bradford was 2-for-4 at the plate with four RBI's.

Shortstop Brett St. Amour was also 2-for- 4 with one RBI and senior third baseman Rocky Polk was 1-for-3 on the day.

Jake Scott was 1-for-3 with two runs scored. Austin Boswell tied Scott for the most home runs this season hitting his eighth in the second inning.

Cody Price closed out the seventh and his career at MACU by striking out the side.

Doug Kane, who pitched in Monday night's game also finishes he MACU baseball career.

MACU finishes their season 24-27 overall.
