Brazoban replaces MACU head softball coach Jerald Lewis who resigned from coaching the cross country teams after two seasons. </P> <P>"I am very excited about Dany Brazoban taking over the leadership of our men's and women's cross country program," MACU Athletic Director Willie Holley said. "He will bring energy and commitment to the program."</P> <P>Although he works mainly with the pitching staff, Brazoban assumed all the conditioning training for the baseball team when he arrived at MACU. He runs all the strength and conditioning programs for the baseball team. </P> <P>"I am excited about this coaching opportunity," Brazoban said. "I'm ready for the cross country season to start and looking forward to the challenges that come with building a strong program."</P> <P>Brazoban finished his playing career pitching at Saint Gregory's University in 2006.</P> <P>Prior to his stint at SGU, Brazoban played one season at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn., from 2004-2005. In his one season at Lipscomb, the right-handed pitcher was the club's ace, starting nine games before injuring his ankle.</P> <P>Prior to transferring to Lipscomb University, Brazoban began his collegiate career at Eastern Oklahoma State Junior College in Wilburton, Okla., where he was a two-year starter.</P> <P>Brazoban is a native of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
