OKLAHOMA CITY - The inaugural Mid-America Christian University Golf Classic is just two days away and will be held this Friday (May 4) at the Earlywine Golf Club on 11600 S. Portland Ave. in Oklahoma City.

The tournament will begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start. At 7 a.m., players and coaches from the MACU Golf Team will be offering free clinics on the driving range and putting and chipping greens.

The format for the tournament will be a four-person scramble, with the cost being $400 per team. Individuals may also register for $100 and will be placed on a team the day of the event.

Prizes will be given to the first, second and third-place teams, along with other contest holes and prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin and a chipping and putting contest. There will also be a hole-in-one contest with the opportunity to win a new car.

The event will benefit the MACU Scholarship Fund.
